Genki Japanese and Culture School (GenkiJACS)
is a private Japanese language school that offers students the opportunity to
learn Japanese language and culture in a relaxed and friendly learning
environment. We are located in Tenjin, the heart of Fukuoka City, in Kyushu,
South Japan.
We offer courses in a range of areas, including conversational Japanese,
Japanese through pop culture, Japanese culture, and study for exams, all with an
emphasis on practical work, inside and outside of the classroom. For students
coming from overseas to study abroad at our language school, we can arrange a
homestay family, and various activities for the duration of your stay. We're
here to make your Japanese learning enjoyable and worthwhile.

Small class size
Classes are limited to a
maximum of 6 students, and usually
have around 3, giving you plenty of chance to practice with the teacher.
You won't find our "Japanese through Pop Culture" and "Japanese
and Traditional Culture" courses at other schools!
All ability levels

Whether you are a complete beginner, an expert, or somewhere in between, we
have a class for you.
Practical topics
All classroom work is based on increasing your practical ability,
and reinforced with practical activities outside of the classroom wherever
possible.
Relevant materials
Our teachers are constantly evaluating new learning materials,
and creating our own where existing materials do not satisfy us.
Only licensed
teachers
Unlike some other Japanese schools, all of GenkiJACS' teachers are
fully qualified and licensed by the Japanese Ministry of Education
to teach Japanese as a foreign language. We hire only the best, and perform
regular training. Students agree: you won’t find better teachers!
Flexible
schedules
Courses start every Monday year-round, and you
can study for as long as you want, from 2 weeks to a year or more! We
schedule classes to fit your needs, instead of forcing you to learn when
we want you to learn!
Low cost
We are in the education field because we love teaching and want to spread
understanding of Japanese culture, so our courses are priced as low
as we can make them. If you find comparable courses cheaper at
other Japanese schools, please tell us!
