Who are
we?
Alexander Language School Cairo is part of an international franchised
network, established in 1994. We offer courses in Arabic, English,
French, Spanish, Italian and German, for adults and children.
ALS specialises in making language learning easy by combining modern
teaching methods with well trained, dedicated teachers, to encourage
maximum student involvement.
Listening to the radio in Arabic or reading an Egyptian newspaper does
not have to be a dream - we can help you do it.
Where is our school:
We are located in one of the most popular areas of residence and office
premises for foreigners in Cairo which is Maadi this is due to its
quiet, green, friendly and safe atmosphere.
Furthermore our school is only a refreshing walk away from many other
preferred expat destinations such as road 9 shopping area, community
service association centre, Greco’s café and Gold’s gym.
Our school does not provide accommodation for students coming from
abroad however as mentioned above Maadi has many premises adjusted to
expat needs and we are ready to facilitate contact with people or
agencies providing this service.
What you need to know about learning Arabic at
ALS
Classes are taught exclusively in Arabic.
Students can take colloquial, classical or integrated colloquial and
classical courses.
We teach grammar only as an aid to communication (rules don’t rule!).
Spoken and written Arabic are easily integrated from the first level for
those who choose.
Classes cover the cultural aspects of communicating in Arabic.
We design our courses using books by educational specialists in the
Arabic language.
We offer personalised programme planning, tracking and feedback.
Class schedules are flexible.
Classes can be taken in group or individual sessions.

- Each level is 22 hours, and could be covered over a period between 2
to 8 weeks ,according to the clients request.
