Oxford English Academy Cape Town is part of the international
Oxford English Academy franchise, established in 2006 in the city of
Oxford in the United Kingdom. The franchise is ever-expanding with schools in 9
countries to date.
We strive to provide quality English tuition in small classes, given by highly qualified and experienced English speaking teachers. Teachers are observed on a regular basis and receive constant training to ensure the highest standards are maintained at all times. The latest materials are used to engage students and to assist them in achieving their English learning goals and a variety of English courses are on offer that can be tailor-made for a student's specific needs.
As an institution, Oxford English Academy endeavors to stay abreast of technological developments by providing students with a blended learning programme that incorporates face-to-face tuition as well as online classes. In addition, technology is used in the classroom in a number of ways to engage students. We offer homestay accommodation, mostly within walking distance to each school, with carefully selected and vetted host families. In this way, English learning is extended beyond the classroom and students get to experience South African culture first hand.
